vedawave is a dark, genre-defying music project from Birmingham, UK based songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist, Dominic Sepulveda. Fusing elements of industrial, gothic metal, progressive rock, and electronic music, vedawave creates a brooding sonic world that delves into themes of introspection, gothic romance, and dark fantasy.

 

Recent releases like ‘Bats :3’, 'Monster’, and ‘Miss Spooky’ have been pivotal in the emergence of ‘🦇:3’, a genre pioneered by vedawave. ‘🦇:3’ embodies a mysterious aesthetic, blending the dark sounds of goth, industrial, nu-metal, and emo music. Since the release of his sophomore album Only Paradise Lost (2021), which earned a feature on Spotify’s Alternative Metal editorial, vedawave has continued to push boundaries. Earlier works like the lo-fi Soir EP (2017), the pastel-drenched emo of Sweetheart EP (2019), and the gothic, post-punk-infused Leave It All Behind (2020) laid the groundwork for this evolution, with tracks featured in key Spotify playlists like Lo-fi Indie.
